Media Bias in 2008 Election Coverage Was Totally Repulsive
posted by: Larry Towne
Now I am not sure how much the people of the country matter in Presidential elections anymore, but when did the Consitution give the media power to annoint a person President of The United States of America?
Ever since Obama's speech at the 04' DNC, the media's affection has been so over the top you want to ask Obama and his media to go get a room. The next time you see the media ask hard questions or criticize Mr. Obama it will be the first. It's sad enough that candidates seem to dance on the strings of the international corporate lobby and other influencial global groups, but can they at least make it less obvious with the Obama agenda?
Have you ever seen a more fabricated set of photo shoots and interviews. They look like canned marketing pieces for crying out loud! The New York Times should be ashamed, but we know that won't happen.
You have to wonder if John McCain feels a little bit like Ron Paul right did. It's Obama TV 24/7 with a scant mention of McCain here and there. You would think Obama was running against Sarah Palin (good move Johnny). Then when they do mention him, they don't provide any of his whole statements he makes regarding his platform. No, they provide small sound bites that are easily manipulated, taken out of context or countered by a hand-picked Obama clip.
Those with a clue can see the propaganda everywhere in the MSM. Now, it's getting insulting. Even if the coverage were close to fair, both the democrat and GOP candidates are horrible for the country. To top it all off, we can't even expect a shred of truth from our sources of information. And still people continue to hang onto false promises of hope from the teleprompter charlatan.
Can McCain Capture Ron Paul Voters?

Hopefully not. Ron Paul voters graviated toward him because he does the following:
- Reveres the Constitution
- Stands up for the Consitution
- Wants to abolish the Fed & income tax (both came about through shady means)
- Wants to shrink the size of government
- Want to repeal the Patriot Act
- Understands and wants sound monetary policy
- Wants to solve the border problem
- Walks the walk
John McCain has nothing in common with Ron Paul. Neither does Obama for that matter. However, front runner candidates usually have a lot of big money and international corporate interests backing them. I bet those corporate international interests and you both want the same thing for America.
UPDATE - Paulians and Libertarians did not follow McCain. They either voted for Paul as a write-in, voted third party or did not vote at all. They did not support the two party circus. Good for them.
