Sarah Palin Has Appeal AND Substance...
But She's Still on Board with McCain

One Day after the Hollywood Barack Obama spectacle, John McCain may have made all of the costs associated with the smoke, mirrors, fireworks, movie score music and acting seem wasted. Today, Governor Palin was introduced as his running mate and came off like a real person with real values. Who knows? Maybe she actually is. She has 5 kids and a union husband. She was also a union member. Her son is in the Army and will be going to Iraq. When told her newborn son had Down's syndrome she brought him into the world according to her own beliefs. She is a lifetime member of the NRA. She rides and races snowmobiles. She hunts and fishes. Unless I am missing something, she might be a real person with a soul serving her state by way of public office. Can it be? It's been so long since such things happened.
Not to mention she is sharp. Not only is she attractive and has the look of a leader, but she speaks with confidence and authenticity. She is a strong woman but she doesn't wallow in what feminism has become. She seems like she can handle herself. Governor Palin is young and has climbed the ladder fast with her mix of skills and traits. This is not unlike Barack Obama. They both have now been questioned in the experience department despite Palin being the only candidate in either party with executive credentials. However there is one glaring difference. Palin has substance to go along with her appeal.
Her claims of change and reform are backed by actions she has taken. She has a track record of standing up to corruption and she will make tough decisions. She was not afraid of consequence when resigning a seat due to her own party's corruption. Her efforts have honestly included fiscal reform. She was a driving force in stopping the bridge to nowhere.
It's unfortunate she has come to the scene with a candidate like McCain, a neo-conservative, foreign policy interventionist who has tried to stomp a hole in free speech and legal immigration. He is a globalist shill the same as Obama. However, you can't blame her for accepting the opportunity. Opportunities to gain a position to make real change are rare.
This may all be too good to be true...another good story no different than the rubbish we are made to believe about Barack Obama or John McCain. She may be just another typical politician... an empty bag of sociopathic flesh doing the bidding of perverted elitists with cash to spend. However, for the time being she is fresh and clean. She provides a spark and this announcement gives McCain leverage and momentum. If Governor Palin can hold her own in the debates and connect with those regular Americans Obama has dismissed as morons clinging to guns and religion, Mr. Obama may want to start planning his next shady real estate investment.

It's been 75 years since the federal government, on the spurious grounds of fighting the Great Depression, ordered the confiscation of all monetary gold from Americans, permitting trivial amounts for ornamental or industrial use. Call me cynical if you like. Many American people are idiots. They couldn’t tell you anything that’s in the Constitution, American history, current laws, the rights they are given by our laws, the rights being taken away by new laws…they can’t even name the speaker of the house. They don’t know global issues or current history in the middle east or anywhere else for that matter. Most people couldn’t point to Iraq on a map. So, Mr. Obama is using this. He is counting on stupidity to win him an election. People are right about him not being anything new…just the same crap with a new shiny wrapping. However, because he has pop culture appeal, his camp is going to use revisionist history to make his socialism seem new, shiny and hopeful.
He knows people are too stupid and lazy to question what he says, so he makes up "facts" as though it were written in stone...like they were hard facts of history. He acts as if obvious long established truths are his new thoughts. It’s amazing. So, as he speaks in debates (and with the help of the moderators framing questions on false / questionable premises) Obama will use grandiose words to literally trick the stupid into believing in something false and coming out with even more fervent support from them. It is more subtle than I make it sound, but it is there.
If he were to come out today and say the reason the country was founded was to act on values that make sure the poor of the world were taken care of, the jerks who do nothing but sit around and make sure their wall is still standing everyday while waiting for Uncle Sam to send their unearned allowance would believe it to be so. Anyone with half a brain knows this to be false, but that's the point. There are a lot of people who don't think or just aren't concerned. Obama is counting on this to be able to talk a lot and say nothing...to manipulate the truth with semantics and double talk.
Unfortunately for the old US of A, countries with dumb voters will eventually fall. When people vote for what free lunch they are promised instead of voting for freedom and liberty, governments spend themselves into destruction. Of course, this is because most politicians are soul-less sociopathis charlatans that live for reasons more hollow than Nancy Pelosi's head.
Speaking of hollow, the hole in Obama’s strategy is that self-reliant men with real brains who do real work & take on real responsibility hate this kind of rubbish. Of course, Mr. Obama wasn’t counting on those votes anyway.
